Welcome back to the fourth issue of Houses and Horoscopes. First up today, Libra!

Libra is the seventh sign of the zodiac and represented by a set of scales. Libras are known to be diplomatic and strive to reach balance and harmony in their lives and relationships. Libras are also known to be social, imaginative, and kind-hearted. The majority of last issue's voters believe that Ravenclaw would be the most common house for Libras, and before I checked my data, I agreed. The social and imaginative Libra does truly seem like a perfect fit for Ravenclaw. However, among the Libras that made up 10% of my mH sample group, Hufflepuff, closely followed by Gryffindor, was home to the majority of our Libras. I think the key to understanding these results is just looking at another side of Libra. Libras are also known to be peaceful, fair, just, cooperative, and gracious. When described using these adjectives, Libra does seem to fit Hufflepuff, and even Gryffindor, well. 

Next up, we have Scorpio. Scorpio is a sign with a very strong reputation. It seems like you could know next to nothing about astrology and still know of Scorpio’s reputation as the cold, intimidating, even scary sign. However, there is far more to Scorpio than just that. Scorpios are brave, determined, and assertive, yet they are also very observant, resourceful, and secretive. Scorpio is often considered a complex or dynamic because of these many qualities. Our readers almost unanimously agreed that Scorpio and Slytherin are the clear pair, but just one reader thinks Gryffindor more likely. Unfortunately, it is hard to reach a strong conclusion here. At about 7% of the sample group, there are not many Scorpios on mH, and the ones we do have were spread very evenly among all houses. Perhaps this suggests that Scorpio is truly a complex and adaptable sign that can present very differently from person to person.
