Azkaban visits -

secure or unsafe?

The annual Azkaban tour is an opportunity for students to gain insight and training in Defense Against the Dark Arts, but recent events have brought about discussion that this tour isn’t exactly what we think it is. That’s right, dear reader, I have reason to believe the intentions are not so innocent.

The tour itself has quite the track record. Every year as students stumble through the Azkaban halls, the Death Eater escapes from his cell and meets up with the students in the Uncomfortable Cell. While this alone brings up many questions (why would a man of such high standards associate himself with something uncomfortable?) I want to focus more on the how. How is it that every year, the Death Eater gains access to either a wand or a key that allows him to unlock his cell door and roam free?

It seems that our local professionals deny this fact. After a discussion with local MLE officer and beloved Divination professor - shouldn’t she see this coming?- Isabella, her phrasing only confused me more.
"Once again, while the tour was a success and the students were eager to engage and ask questions about the information presented to them, we had some... unexpected circumstances to deal with."

Are these circumstances really that unexpected? Or is she just covering up a more elaborate plan that none of us know about? Isabella, being the only superior in charge for the majority of the trip, has access to the students' wands. One may argue that if they were working together, he would be reluctant to cast the Imperius Curse on her. However, when under the Imperius Curse, the Death Eater causes Isabella no harm.
With that brought forward, it leaves room to discuss the Death Eater’s latest actions. As clarified by Isabella, the Death Eater set up a "bake-off" for the visitors of Azkaban to participate in. This can be seen as a friendly gesture. Omer, a recent Hogwarts graduate, agrees. His belief is that the Death Eater went through considerable effort to set up some entertainment for the visitors and it was all done in the name of being a nice host. Whatever the reason, the majority of the Death Eater’s plans and adventures lately have ventured on the "nicer" side of life. From the bake-off to the Valentine’s Day baskets, he is being quite nice. Has he finally changed his ways and is ready to repent?

With that, dear reader, I wish to leave you with some questions to ponder over. Should the Azkaban visits continue? Is Isabella working with the DE? Does anyone have a lactose-free cake recipe for him? All these questions, so little time. Do let me know what you think.

MERLIN & THE PHOENIX ARMY

Once upon a time, in a far-off land, there lived a young wizard named Merlin. Merlin was a curious and adventurous soul who loved to explore the mystical world around him. One day, while wandering through a dense forest, he stumbled upon a flock of phoenixes.

Merlin had never seen so many phoenixes in one place before. They were magnificent creatures, with feathers that shimmered like gold and eyes that sparkled like diamonds. As he approached them, the phoenixes took flight, filling the sky with a blaze of fiery feathers. But to Merlin's surprise, instead of flying away, they circled back around and landed right in front of him.

At first, Merlin was apprehensive. He knew that phoenixes were powerful and unpredictable creatures. But as he watched them closely, he sensed that they meant him no harm. In fact, they seemed to be trying to communicate with him.

Merlin closed his eyes and focused his mind. Suddenly, he heard a voice in his head. It was the voice of the phoenixes, and they were welcoming him to their flock. Merlin was thrilled. He had always dreamed of befriending a phoenix, and now he had an entire flock at his side.

Over the next few weeks, Merlin spent all his time with the phoenixes. He learned their ways and discovered their secrets. He found out that phoenixes were creatures of fire and that they could live for hundreds of years. He also learned that they were fiercely loyal to their friends and would do anything to protect them.

Merlin grew to love the phoenixes, and they loved him in return. They became his constant companions, and together they roamed the mystical world, searching for adventure and excitement.

As time passed, Merlin realized that he had found his true calling. He had always known that he was destined for greatness, but now he saw that his destiny laid with the phoenixes. He knew that he had been chosen to protect and care for these magnificent creatures, and he vowed to do so with all his heart.

And so, Merlin and his flock of phoenixes became legends in their own time. They travelled the world, spreading their magic and their love, and Merlin became known as the greatest wizard of all time. But to those who knew him best, he was simply a friend of the phoenixes, a wizard who had found his true calling in the company of these fiery, loyal creatures.

As Merlin and his flock of phoenixes continued to explore the mystical world, they soon realized that not all creatures shared their love for peace and harmony. There were dark forces at work, and they threatened to upset the balance of the magical realm.

Merlin knew that he could not stand by and watch as these dark forces wreaked havoc on the world he loved. He called upon his flock of phoenixes, and together they prepared for battle.

The phoenixes knew what was at stake, and they were ready to fight alongside their friend, Merlin. With their fiery feathers blazing, they took to the skies, soaring high above the battlefield.

Merlin stood at the front of the army, his wand in hand, ready to face whatever lay ahead. He knew that this battle would not be easy, but he also knew that with the phoenixes by his side, he could not fail.

The battle was fierce and long, but Merlin and his army of phoenixes fought with all their might. The air was filled with the sound of flames and the cries of victory. Despite the darkness that threatened to consume them, Merlin and the phoenixes never lost hope.

As the sun began to set, the battle drew to a close. Merlin and his army emerged victorious, having driven back the dark forces and protected the magical realm from harm. The phoenixes let out a triumphant cry, and Merlin could not help but feel a sense of pride and gratitude towards his loyal friends.

With the battle won, Merlin and his flock of phoenixes returned home. They basked in the warmth of the sun, relishing in their hard-earned victory. And as the night sky enveloped them, Merlin knew that he could always count on the phoenixes to stand by his side, ready to fight for the greater good.

From that day forward, Merlin and his army of phoenixes continued to roam the mystical world, spreading peace and love wherever they went. They were a force to be reckoned with, a symbol of hope and courage, and a testament to the power of friendship.
