Welcome back to Houses and Horoscopes! For more background and my results for Aries and Taurus, please see the previous issue. This issue will feature Gemini and Cancer. 

Gemini: The third sign of the zodiac, Gemini, the twins. Geminis are known for being outgoing, intelligent, and indecisive. Perhaps the intelligence of Geminis is the reason that many of our readers who responded to the previous poll thought most of our mH Geminis would be in Ravenclaw. Gemini is a fairly common sign on mH making up 10% of our members. The most common house for mH Geminis is actually Hufflepuff, though it is closely followed by Slytherin and Ravenclaw. There are no Gryffindor Geminis. Because the difference between Hufflepuff and the tie between Slytherin and Ravenclaw is one person, I would consider these three houses equally common for Gemini. With outgoing and flexible being Gemini traits, I think it does make sense for it to be a sign widely spread between multiple houses because these traits are not limited to any one house. 

Cancer: On to Cancer, the crabby crab and the fourth sign of the zodiac. Cancers are known for being generous, compassionate, imaginative, and moody.  Last issue’s poll concluded by a strong majority that Hufflepuff should be the most common house for Cancers. At almost 15% of the mH population, Cancer is the most common sign on the site! And as predicted, Hufflepuffs are indeed the most common house. Cancers are known to be sensitive, kind, and caring, which might be why they are often Hufflepuffs. But why are Cancers the most common sign on site? Perhaps it is the creativity of Cancers that draws them to a site like mH with opportunities to take fictional classes and roleplay.
